Service Overview

Emkon Solutions Limited designs and delivers targeted capacity building programmes for county government staff, project implementation teams, and community leaders across Kenya. Our training portfolio covers financial management, procurement regulations, project management, leadership, and governance — all topics that are critical to effective delivery of public services and development programmes.

Our capacity building approach begins with a systematic training needs assessment to identify specific knowledge and skill gaps within the target group. We then design customised training programmes that directly address those gaps using adult learning methodologies — combining presentations, case studies, group exercises, and practical simulations. Our trainers are experienced practitioners who bring real-world examples and contextual knowledge to every session.

We have delivered capacity building programmes to county government officers in multiple counties, focusing particularly on public finance management and IFMIS operations, procurement compliance under PPADA 2015, and project management fundamentals. All our training programmes include post-training assessments and certificates of participation, and we offer follow-up coaching and on-the-job support to reinforce learning and embed new skills in the workplace.
